Balsam Fir Skin Properties: 

Traditionally, fir's medicine is used to repel insects, moulds, fungi, bacteria, and viruses. Balsam Fir has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and natural astringent properties, which could disinfect wounds and soothe inflamed skin. 

It may be added to shampoos (50/50) to treat scalp itch and dandruff and add lustre to damaged hair. Use it full strength to detangle hair and treat dandruff. You can also spray the hydrosol directly onto your pet's fur to help reduce dander and deter fleas. 
At full strength, apply it to dermatitis, allergic rashes, cold sores, inflamed acne, and other skin conditions.

You can use hydrosols anytime; they make great refreshers throughout the day. They absorb easily into the skin, making them great to apply before and after moisturizing.

HOW TO USE

Mist onto face, neck and chest after cleansing, or whenever your skin needs a boost. Use your hydrosol as a therapeutic mist or hair and scalp tonic, and add it to baths or diffusers.

Store in a cool, dry place. Do not expose to direct sunlight or heat. For a cooling mist, store in the refrigerator. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
